$50 Rebate and Hit-Software Bundle Offers Consumers Extraordinary Value in 32-bit Gaming

June 1, 1995 The 3DO Company today announced that GoldStar 3DO Interactive Multiplayer systems are now available to consumers at an effective price of $299.99 through Electronics Boutique stores nationwide. Electronics Boutiques advertised price on the GoldStar 3DO systems is $349.99. GoldStar recently announced a $50.00 rebate program for consumers purchasing its 3DO system, effectively lowering Electronic Boutiques price to consumers to $299.99. The Electronics Boutique is the first retailer in the United States to offer the Goldstar 3DO system at this new low price. In addition to being the only advanced 32-bit CD system on the market to carry the $299.99 price point, GoldStars 3DO system comes bundled at no additional charge with FIFA International Soccer and Shock Wave, two award-winning, best-selling hits from Electronic Arts. The combined value of these titles is more than $120.00 at retail.
